We got ourselves a project!
It’s a web site, it’s called Remote.me and by “got” I mean we talked about it, then we researched the existing solutions and whether we can do it and we liked it so much that we decided that it’s the thing we’ll do first in the next couple of months.

The way we imagine it is as a site that lets anyone help anyone (or find help from anyone), regardless of the distance between them. This all, with the magic of the latest technology, of course.

And the funny thing is, it’s also kinda sexy.
You could throw buzzwords at it (like social, mobile, cloud etc.) and they all stick. But that’s not the point and we are not even going there, at least for a while.
The point is, it is exactly the type of project we were looking for when we setup RyeSoft and now we have it!

So it’s all done and dusted. RyeSoft is officially a company now.

We registered the Ltd, got the domain, set up an “office” space (the dining room of the house that one of us rents) and found an accountant who will help us when we need him.

Hey we even have a web site and a blog now!
Can’t promise we’ll be writing frequently, though. It should be pretty busy here.
Well, at least I hope it will be very busy, because that’s the point, right?
